Assistant Professors Job Vacancy in Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) on contract basis
Qualification : Masters Degree in Science + NET/ Bachelors Degree in Engineering/ Technology in the concerned/related, subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade with good academic record. Desirable : M.Phil/M.Tech/Ph.D in the relevant related field.

Salary : 1. Rs. 26,000/- pm for M.Tech/M.Phil/ PG+NET holdrs & Rs. 27,500/- pm for Ph.D Holders. Rs. 22,500/- pm for B.E/ B.Tech holders.
Application Fee : Rs. 550/- for General category candidates of and Rs. 110/- for SC/ST category candidates. Remittance may be made by way of Demand Draft In favour of Registrar, CUSAT payable at SBT, CUSAT Branch or by direct remittance at Cash Counter, CUSAT.

The establishment of the erstwhile University of Cochin in 1971 was a commitment from the Government of Kerala towards the new scientific policy resolution adopted by the Central Government on 4th March 1958. The birth of the new University was with the specific purpose of development of higher education with particular emphasis on post-graduate studies and research in applied science, technology, industry and commerce. The University of Cochin was later reorganized as Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in February 1986.
