OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)Urgently required for a leading Engineering & Construction Companyinvolved with Operation & Maintenance of Refinery / Petrochemical / Oil &Gas Onshore & Offshore Project in Middle East.Minimum Requirement-Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Preferably in Mechanical or equivalentwith minimum 20 years experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Oil & GasConstruction Projects.-Experience working with an international E&C company-Excellent leadership and communications skills-Prior experience working with a diverse international workforce-Ability to lead, motivate, resolve problems and inspire a diverseworkforce and staff, and values diversity.Preference given to applicants with:-Experience working in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS/FSU),Middle East, and / or North Africa.-Relevant degree or diplomaScope of Responsibilities:-Manage, coordinate and supervise the construction process from theconceptual development stage through final construction and handover toCompletions on a timely and economical basis.Responsible for coordinating and managing contractors, materials andequipment, schedules and contracts whilst maintaining client satisfactionand international standards of quality.Primary Duties-Manage the construction activities and executes the construction worksin line with the delivery schedule, contract specifications andconditions-Supports the construction contractors by removing impediments toprogress, assisting in the development of their construction schedule,agreeing a construction sequence (path of construction), and ensuringthat the contractors have the materials, engineering deliverables, tools,and resources that are required for successful execution and completedelivery within the required time frame.-Develops and implements the requirements of the Construction ExecutionPlan (CEP)-Ensures that the constructability process is implemented in the designphase and ensure participation of construction personnel in all projectmodel reviews-Develops a clear organization chart for the construction personnel onsite with realisticdistribution of the work capacity with respect to the capacity of theindividuals-Demonstrates a strong commitment and ownership of health, safety andEnvironmental excellence. Ensure adherence to the project and corporateHSE procedures and maintain a safe working environment.-Contributes to the 90 days and 6-weeks look-ahead plans, and implementswork in agreed sequence-Is familiar with project and subcontractor contracts, and records allchanges in accordance with Management of Change procedure-Liaise with Client senior management and ensures good relations aremaintained through project-Responsible for generating regular progress reports for review bymanagement-Coordinates with Completions supervision to ensure completed work ishanded over in agreed sequence-Monitors subcontractor and vendor performance and contributes to projectevaluation of these in project close-out reports-Performs regular performance reviews and assessments of all subordinatesduring project. -Gives feedback as appropriate.-Ensuring that the construction areas are constructed to internationalquality standards and agreed budget, schedule, and construction sequence-Strong advocate for quality construction installations and ensuring thatwe construct the right way, the first time, in adherence to project andcorporate quality assurance policies and procedures-Implementation of standard construction work processes (CPs), manuals,procedures, and systems-Manage construction and maintenance of temporary facilities-Promotes an open, honest, direct, and positive communications style.-Manage the construction team creating an atmosphere of cooperation andteam spirit.-Develop the staff so that every supervisory position has a deputy ableto stand in for absences and rotation leaves.
