is a media marketing company that markets media catering to the non-resident Indian community abroad to advertisers in India. Established in 2012, H20 is owned by Primetime, one of the oldest independent media sales companies in India to look at new opportunities in television and other media outlets, such as out-of-home, radio and digital. H20 currently markets:

  • Willow TV (the only dedicated broadcaster of cricket in the US and Canada)
  • Times Now (Indias foremost news channel available in North America, Singapore, Middle East, and Australia)
  • Zoom (a lifestyle and Bollywood channel in North America, Singapore, Middle East, and Australia)
  • MBC Bollywood (a mainstream channel catering to the local populations in the Middle East)

In the view of this rapid growth, H20 Media are seeking to hire a dynamic and committed salesperson to help scale their international TV ad-sales business in India for Mumbai and Delhi location. In this role, you will be servicing clients, media buyers and agencies for the various international channels that H2O Media represents. This position will report to the Business Development Manager while closely working with marketing services team and accounts team.

Whats on offer:A highly competitive salary of up to 6 lacs (fixed) and variable would comprise of 10-20% of the base salary (performance based). Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead generation:
  • Generate leads through online research, databases, yellow-page directories
  • Contact potential clients, via email, telephone, and face to face, to pitch the potential advertising opportunities
2. Consultative selling:
  • Understand and assess client needs to generate business across new and existing media buyers and agencies
  • Undertake research to create completing sales presentation
  • Create credibility for the brand by understanding the clients need and offering a customized solution (customize rates and products)
3. Independent execution and organization:
  • Proactively take responsibility for client follow-ups, scheduling and co-ordination
  • Manage existing relationships with clients to ensure continued support and repeat business
Does this sound like you?
  • Experience selling services to businesses and corporates
  • End-to-end sales experience, from lead generation to deal closure
  • Experience generating new leads via cold calls and primary research
  • Self-motivated individual with a positive and professional approach to management.
  • Willing and able to travel (this role requires 50-75% of time for local travel and 20% for multicity travel)
  • Willing to move across different cities based on H20 medias priorities

Strongly preferred:
  • Experience with media sales or brand solutions (like selling ad-space across platforms such as newspapers, magazines, radio, television or digital)
  • Experience with ticket ranging from 30,000 50,000 USD
  • Experience building relationships with, and selling to, marketing departments
  • Experience with concept selling across niche products
  • Strong academic grades would be preferred
