Job DescriptionIntroduction/summaryEstablish sales strategy, sales objective, and support needs for ServiceAssurance solutions in India/SAARC, identify customers and key marketsegments to penetrate, and develop business as well as strategic salesplans.Generate and identify Service Assurance opportunities, with theresponsibility for delivering or exceeding EXFO Service Assurance salestargets.Promote EXFOs Analytics, Active and Passive Assurance solutions to theIndia/SAARC market.Work with EXFO Product Management to ensure our customers needs are wellknown and understood, and to influence future product development.Work with Solutions Engineering group to manage customer expectations andmaintain ongoing and regular communication with the customer.Provide constant feedback to portfolio and product management teams onthe competition and changes in technology trends;Works with systems engineering and Services organization to jointlydevelop scope of work requirements for proposal development.Establish EXFO credibility in systems solutions market space and ourcustomer base.In-depth knowledge of competition and provide expert analysis oncompetitive sales positioning strategies.Knowledge of how Service Assurance and Systems solve customer problem byproviding consultative expertise to EXFO customers.Train and support direct sales organization with baseline qualificationand technical capabilities.Strong customer relationships, track record and experience with Tier 1Fixed and Wireless Operators such as TATA, Bharti, RJIL, Vodafone, SLT,Dialog Axiata, etcPast vendor work experience including the likes of: Cisco, Juniper, ALU,Ericsson, Netscout/Tektronix, Empirix, CA, JDSUTechnical RequirementsTechnically competent in the following areas:o Distributed networks and designo Systems and OSS Architectureo Strong understanding of TCP/IPo Familiarity with IP based Voice, Data and Video protocolsIP Network protocols: MPLS, Carrier EthernetVoIP protocols: RTP, SIPVideo protocols: IGMP, MPEG2TS, RTSPo Wireless protocols: 2G, 3G, 4G/LTEo Familiar with network monitoring and/or test toolso High degree of knowledge of IP network design principles including IPRouting and SwitchingExtensive experience selling sophisticated next generation networksolutions to carrier customers.Expert in Telecom Service Activation methodologies and sales strategies.Possess the ability to build this new business for EXFO.Outstanding relationships and knowledge of the network service providersmarket wireless and wireline experience is required.Required Skills and AptitudesExperience and ability to work hand-in-hand with sales overlay structure.Advanced proficiency with solution selling, demonstrate in-depth salesand consulting skills.Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skillsinternal and external.Demonstrated ability to work with product line, engineering and servicedelivery teams.Demonstrated ability in working with software development teams.Strong customer advocacy skills complemented by ability to effectivelyposition the value proposition and benefits from the customerperspective.Demonstrated ability to work with partners.Enthusiastic and self-motivated.Self-starter and able to interact with people at all levels.Autonomous, well organized, and results-oriented.Academic and Professional RequirementsEducation: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Telecommunications,or relatedfield.Pertinent experience: At least 10 year experience in direct and indirectsales of Service Assurance and/or OSS and/or Telecom Testing fields.We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage applications fromwomen, visible minorities and Aboriginal people
