urgently looking for a sales /Marketing person ,for direct sales , looking preferably from the freight forwarding Industry
Description:
oFocus is on developing business opportunities with companies currently not transacting business with TSLPL.
oRole is responsible for lead generation, relationship management, opportunity identification and closing of deals.
oBD Manager will align activities to support the strategic initiatives and will play a lead role in designing solutions for prospects.
oSolutions will be comprised of these key initiatives
oExpansion of services (air and ocean freight forwarding, order management services, land transport and contract logistics).
Role requires previous experience and knowledge of solutions consulting and design principles and methodologies, preferably in the logistics or consulting markets.
Accountabilities:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
€Plan and conduct sales calls, including:
oDeveloping a sales-call plan and call specific objectives and materials
oConduct face-to-face calls with customers at all levels in their organization
oFollowing up on commitments and issues that arise during sales calls
oCommunicate on customer and competitive developments that relate to assigned sales territory
oIdentify potential customers in each line of business
oDevelop and maintain sales territory marketing plan
oManage sales leads
oDevelop and implement a strategy to maintain and increase business with each account (existing and potential) in sales territory
oSecure appointments with key middle and senior management to understand business conditions and future opportunities
€Achieve and maintain the data integrity of assigned accounts according to the established processes, which include updating of calendars, pipeline data, customer profile information contact data through data aggregator service and/or direct contact; removal of duplicate data; incorporating market intelligence; etc.
€Coordinate sales effort with the sales management, marketing, regional offices, finance, etc.
€Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in local trade, professional and civic associations as a representative of the company; reviews professional publications€™ establishes networks
€Lead/Participate in the post sales implementation team, including preparation of the account specific Implementation Action Plan with the new customer
Key Results:
€Revenue Generation: Responsible for delivering the Annual Sales Budget associated with new business in the Retail vertical
€Lead Generation: Must identify and create leads across region to support strategic initiatives
€Meet Financial Targets: Meet/Exceed revenue and contribution margins as % per customer, develop and execute a strategic business plan in accordance with corporate directives, towards business development. Revenue-new business development
