Bhopal Nursing College was established in Nov 2003.This college is the first college offering P.B.BSc(N) in M.P state. We have 350 bedded super-speciality parent hospital (Bhopal Memorial Hospital & Research Centre).This hospital is managed by ICMR (Dept. of Health Research), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

We, the faculty of the College & school of Nursing believe that Nursing is a service oriented profession based on scientific knowledge which assists people in achieving their maximum health potential. We believe that professional Nurse is the one who possesses intellectual competencies and professional skills acquired from physical, biological behavioral sciences and humanities and research applied to the practical field. We recognize that nature of Nursing is such that a substantial portion of students learning is acquired in the clinical area through practice. The faculty further believe that Nursing education has as its major purpose the development of a broadly prepared self fulfilling concerned citizen secure to accept the responsibilities of citizenship in his/her community, country and world with a deep respect for those with differing cultures and values. Bhopal Nursing College in Bhopal Memorial Hospital & Research Centre provides training for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (since November2003) and General Nursing & Midwifery (from 16th August 2011). It is recognized by India Nursing Council, approved by State Nursing Council, and affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal. The College has well furnished lecture halls with centralized AC, demonstration halls, well equipped laboratories, modern hostel facility and auditorium of 250 seats. It has a spacious computerized library well equipped with professional books, journals and well internal facilities. The hospital is having huge green campus with all basic facilities and special security. Bhopal Nursing College is also attached to Peoples Hospital & Research Centre (1000 bedded) for clinical experience
