SRF /RA Meterology recruitment in Indian Institute of Farming Systems Research On Contractual basis
SRF /1 Post
Qualification: Masters degree in Meterology/Agriculture Meterology/ Agricultural Physics with 60% marks or equivalent grade.Desirable: Experience in micro Meterological observations, climate scenario generation and modeling.
Pay Scale : Rs.16000
Age : 35 yrs for Men and 40 yrs for Women
RA/1 Post
Qualification:Ph.D in Agronomy or Masters degree in Agronomy (60%) marks or equivalent grade) with 2 yrs experience after post graduation.Desirable: Experience in field survey , soil survey, soil sampling, plant sampling and growth analysis , knowledge in MS Office.
Pay Scale :Rs.23000 Masters Degree Holders, Rs.24000 Doctoral Degree holders
Age :40yrs for Men and 45 yrs for Women
Selection Procedure: Written Test/Interview

About Indian institute of farming systems res

Indian Institute of Farming Systems Research was established by renaming Project Directorate for Farming Systems Research by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi at Modipuram, Meerut (Uttar Pradesh). Earlier,It was named as Project Directorate for cropping System Research and the project was operating as All India Coordinated Agronomic Research Project (AICARP) since 1968-69 to coordinate agronomic research at national level. During mid-eighties it was realized that component approach of crop research is not sufficient to boost and sustain high yield levels, attained during green revolution period. Consequently, AICARP was upgraded to the level of Project Directorate with a vision to strengthen all aspects of system based crop research at national level.
