Manage the overall projects undertaken by Software Department, defining howthe scope, goals and deliverables of IT Projects should support Companys goalsin collaboration with senior management and other departments/divisions Heads. Define project success criteria and effectively communicate these criteria andproject expectations to team members and other stakeholders involvedthroughout the project lifecycle.. Monitor all aspects of the project by defining and documenting all processes ofproject lifecycles to ensure projects are delivered according to plan and withinbudget.. Establish and communicate project timelines, milestones and deliverablesusing appropriate tools, including tracking and monitoring these milestones anddeliverables. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path toensure projects are completed on schedule. Preparation and maintenance of system documentation including analysis, design, development, integration and testing. Accept and assess project status reports, change requests and Projectrequirements documentation to ensure smooth project progression. Serve as a subject matter expert for specific areas of the project management lifecycle,Processes, Standards, Reporting, Compliance and improvements. Processes, Standards, Reporting, Compliance and improvements : Develop, implement and control best practice techniques, tools and processes forproject planning, project management, execution, ongoing milestone/deliverabletracking, communication, and key performance metrics. Oversee the continuous adoption and improvement of methodologies, processes and tools to increase the productivity, reliability and predictability of software development projects. Develop a culture of rigorous cost-control, re-use, measurement and continuousimprovement amongst the Project Management team. Conduct completed project reviews and create recommendations in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Resource Acquisition & Deployment : Working closely with the Development team, effectively manage the teams timeand allocate resources to ensure deliverables are completed before committeddeadlines. Provide information and actively collaborate with other departmentalmanagers to enable the effective prioritization of projects and effective allocationof resources, and where required, negotiate with department managers via theportfolio function for the acquisition of required staff. Provide updates on the resource allocation, status of project delivery to the Management. Allocate reliable and adequate resources to join Marketing Team for business presentation. Source the relevant technical expertise externally and manage the continuouscommunication and progress of the project. Strategic Leadership & Performance Management : Lead, support and manage the Software Development team, building a strong,effective and efficient IT project management capability to ensure that all ITprojects adhere to best practice and quality processes and are delivered on time,according to plan and within budget, with dependencies and risks appropriatelymanaged. Provide strong and effective leadership to Software Developmentteam by fostering a culture of professional development, leadership andcontinuous improvement and refinement of Project Management framework. Lead and manage team to ensure goals are achieved and to drive superiorbusiness outcomes to meet the current and future goals of Company. Coach and guide Development Team, helps them in Coding wherever they stuck. Construct performance development plans in conjunction with direct reports to setperformance direction and highlight training and development needs. Regularly monitor and assess performance of direct reports to provide constructivefeedback and highlight development needs
