The overall responsibility for project execution rests with Department of Cooperation and Marketing, Government of Maharashtra. Implementation support would be provided by Maharashtra State Agriculture Marketing Board (MSAMB) and Departments of Agriculture, ATMA and Animal Husbandry, and various support organizations and private service providers.

Project Advisory:
A High Power Committee has been established at the State level headed by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The Ministers of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Dairy, Agricultural Marketing and Chief Secretary are members of this Committee. The Principal Secretary (Cooperation and Marketing) is the Member Secretary of this Committee. This Committee would perform the role of advisory body for the project.

Project Oversight:
The project has setup a Project Steering Committee (PSC) to review the progress of MACP at the State level and provide strategic direction, policy advice and resolve conflicts, if any, among participating Departments. This Committee will review the overall management and progress of the Project every six months. The Chief Secretary, Government of Maharashtra, is the Chairperson of this Committee, and Principal Secretaries of Finance, Planning, Cooperation and Marketing and other participating Departments as Members.
